Do you want to become the best marketer out there?
Weekdone's target group is any team leader or manager in an organization. Close to half of them are in the US. Your goal as a marketeer is to reach and attract those managers to Weekdone via any kind of written or visual content, campaigns, hacks or partnerships created, executed and distributed by you. While doing that, you need to generate thousands of online sign-ups per month to our web- and mobile-based products.
You will be working in a team of 3 marketers to brainstorm and share insights and ideas. You are supported by our founding team on the sides of design, development and product
You do anything you can to increase awareness about Weekdone among business people, managers and team leaders all over the world. Big part of the work is oriented on content marketing on external mediums, blogs, communities, traditional media like newspapers and magazines, our own blog and resources section. There's definitely a lot of writing involved, which you must love. Some of your work will involve special marketing content like special minisites. Your content and campaigns must get in front of tens of thousands of people each month. Your key goal is to bring in new users and leads for our sales team. Your goal is to use to attract new Weekdone users, create interest and desire in them. You own, manage, and drive the full marketing cycle from first outreach for attention, to interest, desire and action - sign-up and becoming a paid customer.
Most importantly you have to have a strong desire to learn and grow. The world of marketing offers so many opportunities. It is your inner drive, ability and interest in connecting with other people that makes you the best marketer out there.
The more marketing experience you have online the better.
You have to be a great writer and English-language content creator. This includes external articles, guest posts, content for our blog, infographics, slides and reference materials of interest to leaders and managers on the US market. You're a mix of journalist, editor and copywriter. You have to be good communicator and have a lot of creative ideas. This means excellent English language skills in written form.
You understand the content distribution part and are aggressive enough to chase journalists, bloggers, media sites and partners. You pick up the phone and call them to sell Weekdone vision and stories. You communicate with clarity and brevity and build long-lasting friendly relationships with media.
You experiment and measure and you are driven by numerical results and how those affect sales.
It's great if you have previous content writing and editorial, media, marketing or PR experience, but more important is your ability to create and distribute content that creates buzz across the Internet. Your actions must bring measurable results: leads and sign-ups, so you must be able to always keep the business goals in mind.
You must have no problems to find story ideas for articles, blogging and newsletters daily, and you execute them to focus on our target group: managers and team leaders.
As any marketing person, you have to be systematic and work hard under pressure and deadlines.
You have the ability to articulate the product value proposition with any level of detail or brevity.
We'll train you on our product, but you should be a good computer user and the more experience you have with online products and software, the better it is.
This is a full time job, preferably based in our cozy Tartu office at Ülikooli 5. Working from Tallinn and visiting Tartu a few days per week is possible as well.
Remember, this is a startup. Not every question has an answer yet. Quite often, you are the one who has to find and provide answers. So be ready to work in an environment that changes daily.
Your job is easy: to close our incoming free trial sign-ups to paying customers. You call the leads on the phone, ask smart questions, listen and understand their needs. You help them with getting started with Weekdone and make sure they become our long-term paying users. You own, manage, and drive the full sales cycle from first contact through closing. Big part of the job is focused on the customers in the United States, taking into account their time zones - meaning afternoons and evenings Estonian time.
Whenever a customer signs up on the Internet or mobile for Weekdone 15-day free trial - thousands of companies do that each month - your task is to always get back to them on the phone. On a call you find out their first feelings on the Weekdone product, their exact needs and challenges. You answer any questions they have about Weekdone and suggest ways how to make it a success in their team. If possible, you do a demo video call with screensharing to train them on the Weekdone product. You then close the sale by getting the user to switch to paid version of Weekdone. Later for our existing customers, you keep constant contact with them to keep them happy and satisfied with Weekdone. You find ways to extend Weekdone to other teams and managers inside their organisation to create additional sales.
This is a full time job, but you need to have the flexibility to work late Estonian hours at least a few evenings per week to serve the customers in New York or San Francisco. You should have previous active sales experience (Southwestern guys and girls, you're very welcome!). As important is being energetic and hungry for closing those sales deals. You must be ready to do 50 or more calls per day, even if you get a quick "No!" 49 times as an answer. As any sales person, you have to be systematic and work hard under pressure. You negotiate and cut through rejection to achieve sales goals. You're convincing to our target group: business leaders and managers. Good command of English language in written and oral forms is a must. Most of your job will include talking to native speakers in the US over phone, Skype and e-mail. You have to be good communicator and enjoy talking to and befriending tens of strangers per day by phone. You have the ability to articulate the product value proposition with any level of detail or brevity. We'll train you on our product (don't worry, it's not complicated), but you should be a good computer user. The more experience you have with online products and software, the better it is.

You make sure they stay as our long-term paying users and help their accounts grow sales wise.
