Weekly Planning in Team Compass is structured around the PPP methodology. PPP stands for Plans, Progress, Problems.
The process itself works as follows: Every week, a user will enter 3-5 goals, accomplishments, and challenges in a way that is understandable to other people.
Plans are your goals for the next reporting week. What are you going to do next?
Progress is a list of your accomplishments and finished plans. What have you done?
Problems are items you can’t finish for some reason. The reasons can vary from waiting behind other team members, external factors to just unexpected happenings. Any problems you are facing?
It is important to note that PPP is not a personal task management technique but rather a work progress overview that should be clearly understood by others without additional context.

Tips for Weekly Planning
- Write the reports in a way that it’s understandable to others and not just yourself.
- Keep the items short but rich in information.
- If needed, use facts, numbers and background information. External web links may be helpful here.
- Have a maximum of 5-7 items in each category, no more. No one really reads long reports.
